Exploring the Tarot

September 2005

I have never done this before, so I don't know where to begin. Today I found out that my cousin committed suicide. It is a really sad day for our family, especially his mother. They have NO money and although I have reached into my pocket to help, I am reaching out to the community to see if anyone can manage donating anything to the fund. They cannot afford to have him buried and cremation is our only option, however it is very expensive as well. I hate to ask for anything, with the current fundraising that is going on for the Katrina victims, but I really don't know where else to turn. If you can give anything, please contact me at roxanne@exploringthecauldron.com

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Namaste,
Roxanne B. Poole

Neighbor's family in need...

A family were left homeless by Hurricane Katrina. They were stationed in the US Navy in a small community outside of Biloxi, Mississippi, which was unfortunately located on the Mississippi River and within 2 miles of the ocean. Needless to say, they have been told by his commander that there is no home to come back to and now they are stuck in NC with his aunt until they can figure out what to do. He was actually on a ship when the hurricane hit so his wife fled to Birmingham Alabama by herself with 4 kids and a dog. She only packed enough for 3 days and grabbed the important papers and left, not even considering she could never get back. They are in need of any clothing until they can figure out what they are going to do next. If anyone can help, please get iin touch with us. The sizes are as follows:

> Peter-size 8 clothes, size 2 shoe
> Katie-size 6/7 clothes, size 12 shoe
> Virginia-size 5 clothes (Child) and size 11 shoe
> Seth-size 3T clothes and size 7-71/2 shoe
> Scott- size 32w30l pants and size medium shirt
> Nancy- size 12 dress and size L shirts
